PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: September 5, 2026
The short version: this website does not use cookies, does not run analytics or trackers, and does not collect personal data. The game itself does not send any data anywhere.
1. WHO WE ARE
This website and the game HiRoads Remastered are published by Filippo Bodei, Montichiari (BS), Italy, under the OTTOBIT label (the "developer"). You can reach us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
2. THIS WEBSITE
This is a static website. When you open it, your browser requests the pages and images from our hosting provider. Like every web server, the provider may keep standard technical logs (IP address, time of the request, browser type) for security and operational purposes. We do not add any tracking of our own.
- Cookies: none set by us.
- Analytics / advertising: none.
- Forms / accounts: none. There is nothing to sign up for.
- Fonts: the two typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. Google receives the request for the font file and may log your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
3. THE GAME
The desktop and browser versions of HiRoads Remastered work entirely offline. Your progress (levels completed, best runs, options, custom levels) is stored locally on your device, or in your browser's local storage for the web version. It is never uploaded to us. Uninstalling the game or clearing your browser's site data deletes it.
The game contains no in-app purchases, no advertising and no telemetry.
4. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
The game and its demo are distributed through platforms we do not operate. When you use them, their own privacy policies apply:
- Steam (Valve Corporation), including Steam features such as achievements and cloud saves, if available.
- itch.io, which hosts the browser demo.
Links to our social channels (X, Bluesky, YouTube, TikTok) lead to third-party sites governed by their own policies.
5. CHILDREN
We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children. The game is suitable for all ages.
6. YOUR RIGHTS
Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you write to us by email, we will use your message only to reply and will not share it. You can ask us to delete the correspondence at any time. If you are in the EU/EEA you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. CHANGES
If anything above changes (for example, if we ever add optional crash reports or analytics), we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
